MS Allure of the Seas

MS Allure of the Seas, a sister of the world's largest passenger ship, the MS Oasis of the Seas, has been completed by the STX Finland Oy shipyard in Turku, Finland, and delivered to the Royal Caribbean International on 28th October 2010. The Oasis of the Seas was delivered in October 2009, and has been a spectacular success, so the delivery of the sister ship in to the cruising market has been expected with great interest. The vessel left the Turku shipyard on 29th October 2010 for her home port of Port Everglades, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, US. The STX Finland Turku Shipyard was very pleased to complete the project, and deliver the vessel to the owner on time, within budget, and according to agreed specification. STX Finland management attributed the project success to long-time commitment in constructing state-of-the-art cruise vessels, and emphasized the importance of effective and appropriate project management for successful completion of the task.
